Starting with Android 9, bandwidth throttling will limit all apps that test WiFi signals, allowing only four signal scans every two minutes. Scans need to be performed more frequently for best results. This restriction can be disabled in your phone settings.
1. Go to the settings screen, drop down to About phone, and touch to go to the screen.

2. Go to the About Phone page, find the software information, and touch.

3. Go to the software information page and find the compilation ID.

When you tap 7 consecutive times, the message "Developer mode is enabled" is displayed. The developer options are activated.

1. Go to the settings page, select Developer from the drop-down list box, and click.
