Keeping your app secure

When you establish a connection, you can choose to remember the remote access password. This makes subsequent connections to the computer quicker and more convenient.

You can press the i icon on any connection to configure it. From here, you can forget a remembered password, or remove the desktop preview. You can also prevent the desktop preview from updating.

To clear passwords and desktop previews for all connections, open the side menu and navigate to Settings > Forget all sensitive data.

Signing out of your RealVNC account will remove your connections until you sign back in. To do so, open the side menu and navigate to Settings > Sign Out. A prompt will ask if you would like to remove remembered passwords permanently.
