Getting help
If you experience a problem, visit our Help Center or email Technical Support. Please include the platform and operating system of the device you are trying to connect to, as well as the VNC Server (or third party software) version.
Accessing logs
RealVNC Viewer can save logs. Logs can help self-diagnose an issue, or they can be emailed to Technical Support.
You must first enable Logging under Settings > Connection information. You may then need to reproduce your issue before it is logged.
To view your logs, connect your device to your computer and access its files in the usual way. Logs are saved in the device's shared storage, in /Android/data/com.realvnc.viewer.android/files/VNCViewer.
